Speaking of Eraserhead...WTF?

Ok, I saw this 1977 David Lynch movie last night....freaky! I'm at a loss as to what it all meant but I don't regret seeing it. I do wonder what the hell was wrong with the freak show blonde woman with the puffy face who kept singing a song about heaven...weird. If you haven't seen it, take a hit of something, watch it and then tell me what it meant, ok?

Where did you get the chance to see this?? TV or a theater?

I believe, without question, that this is the most deranged movie ever made. I saw it as a junior in college when it was originally released. I was the only kid on campus who didn't smoke dope, but it made no more sense to me than it did to the stoners. Over 100 of us walked out afterwards with a blank stare and just a bit of a disturbed look on our faces! I have a copy of it on VHS and watch it maybe once a year. Still no answers.

Oh, I also own the soundtrack to it. Yes, there's a soundtrack...

A soundtrack? LOL...acid was pretty cheap back then huh?

Actually I rented it on Netflix. It popped up as a recommendation for me. Guess they know I'm a little out there!

Netflix had this on DVD??? I didn't think it was available on DVD in this country yet!!!

The soundtrack is a bit lacking. Alot of that steam machinery sound in the back, and that hideous song. I think theres some Fats Waller playing too.
