Happy 50th Smurfs!
The Smurfs turned 50 today. They were first created in Belgium in 1958 by Peyo but the US cartoon started in 1981. Smurfette and Gargamel were my favorites. I had a Smurfette doll sitting in the back window of my blue 1975 Camero in my senior year of high school...they were the bomb.
